Serving the Word: Mt 10: 34-11,1

MONDAY 13 JULY

Matthew 10:34-11:1:
“He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for me will find it.”

How different is the notion we have of winning and losing from the notion of winning and losing that Jesus has!
For Jesus, we win when we lose and we lose when we win.
The more life we lose for him and for others, the more life we gain.
Like a mother, the more life she gives to her child, the more life she has as a mother.
Not a single glass of fresh water will be useless or unfruitful when it is given to communicate life.
Today, you can count the moments in which you lose life in order to give life: time, sleep, energy, plans…
You will surely feel more alive.
Good day.
