Serving the Word: Mk 8: 1-10

SATURDAY 15 FEBRUARY

Mark 8:1-10:
“I have compassion on the people, because they have been with me for three days now and have nothing to eat, and if I send them home hungry, they will faint on the way. Moreover, some have come from afar”.

Again we find Jesus surrounded by people.
And again we meet the compassionate Jesus who feels tenderness for these people who have been with him for three days and have nothing to eat.
Once again we meet the Jesus who seeks a remedy for the hunger of those who are close to him.
And once again we see Jesus breaking the bread that he gives to his disciples so that they can give it to the people and they eat until they are full.
Stand by Jesus today too.
Sit at the table of the Eucharist. Satisfy yourself with the life of Jesus. Join him in the bread that is his body and you will be filled with eternal life.
Good day.
