THURSDAY 6 FEBRUARY
Mark 6, 7-13:
“They went out to preach conversion, and cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
Jesus chose the Twelve “to be with him and to be sent out to preach”.
Today the moment of that sending comes.
And we see that the announcement of the Good News is not only made in words.
To the Twelve he also entrusts the mission of “casting out demons” and “healing the sick”.
Today too, our word as believers must be accompanied by actions and concrete signs because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings to be cured.
Stop today and look around you.
You may possibly have the opportunity to cast out some ‘demon’ or cure a ‘sick person’.
Don’t miss the opportunity. Jesus sends you to bring freedom and joy.
