Serving the word: Mc 8, 14-21

Mark 8, 14-21:
“Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you not yet understand? Have you no perception? Have you eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear?”.

We live so concerned and preoccupied by our own things that do not understand the things of God.
Yesterday we wanted to open our hearts to the wonders and gifts that every day the Lord places before us and puts in our hands.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus teaches his disciples to open their eyes and realize that it is in the daily actions of our life is where He manifests himself.
The disciples did not understand the teachings of Jesus because they still have their hearts opened to very different schemes than the schemes of the Master.
Also, today try to be very attentive to the happenings of the day. In the small events the Lord Jesus will be teaching you his ways, and in these small events he will manifest himself to you.
That the eyes may serve you to see the wonders of God and your ears may serve you to listen to them.
Good day
