Serving the Word: Lk 9: 18-22

Luke 9, 18-22:
And you, “Who do you say that I am?”.

We continue asking ourselves the same question as yesterday.
A personal and direct question. “Who is Jesus?” for me.
Being a Christian is not having a belief, or fulfilling a moral code, or performing a certain type of worship.
The Christian does not opt for any of this.
The Christian and the one a Christian follows is a person. And that person is Jesus Christ.
With the personal encounter of Jesus Christ comes some believes, the practice of a particular moral code and also the performing a certain kind of worship.
But, don’t forget, the first thing is your personal choice for Jesus.
Today ask the Lord to be the one who gives meaning to your steps, joy to your heart and hope into your life.
Ask him that you may feel that He is indeed your Saviour.
Good day.
