Luke 9, 1-6:
“Jesus, having summoned the Twelve, gave them power and authority over all kinds of demons and to cure diseases. Then he sent them out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick”.
Jesus chose the Twelve to be with Him and to be sent out to preach.
Today the time has come for this sending out and we see that the proclamation of the Good News is not done just with words.
The Twelve are also entrusted with the mission of expelling demons and curing the sick. Also, today our word as believers has to be accompanied by specific deeds because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings to cure.
Stop today and look around you. Possibly you may have the opportunity to drive out a “demon” and to cure a sick person. Don’t miss the opportunity.
Jesus sends you out to bring freedom and joy.
