Serving the Word: Lk 7: 11-17

Luke 7, 11-17:
“Jesus went to a town called Nain. When he was near the gate of the town, it happened that a dead man was being carried out for burial, the only son of his mother and she was a widow. When the Lord saw her, he felt sorry for her. “Do not cry”, he said. Then he went up and put his hand on the bier and said: “Young man, I tell you to get up”. And the dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him to his mother.”

Jesus not only comforts her with words. He also consoles her with deeds.
In the face of pain and human tragedy he feels sorrow, and is moved from within, as this poor widow who also mourns the loss of her only son. And Jesus acts. He does not just remain in sentiment.
When restoring life to the only son he also helps the mother to restore in herself a life of hope.
You are a follower of Jesus. Also try to wipe away tears, communicate life and restore hope. Fight against everything that violates God’s dream for humanity.
You will be happy sowing happiness.
Never doubt that those who sow blessings, they too will be blessed.
You have good day sowing life and restoring hope.
Good day.
