Serving the Word: Lk 7: 1-10

Luke 7, 1-10:
“Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof. Say but the word, and my servant will be healed.”

A centurion of the Roman people has a servant who is about to die.
He comes to Jesus.
As he is not a Jew, he does not consider himself to be worthy that Jesus comes to his house.
But his faith and trust in Jesus are so strong that they soften the Heart of Jesus, and he performs the miracle.
For Jesus there are no borders of race, peoples, nations, nor even of beliefs.
Jesus only asks us that to perform his wonders in us that we place our faith and our confidence in him
If we go to him, his powerful word will perform miracles in us and give us the fullness of life that we need.
The centurion of the Gospel of today is also a beautiful example of a person who intercedes in his prayer for others. Think about specific people who you want to intercede for today.
Together with your faith and your confidence present them to Jesus.
Good day.
