Serving the Word: Lk 4: 31-37

Luke 4, 31-37:
“They were amazed at his teaching, because his word was full of authority”.

How many words are you able to pronounce on a normal day in your everyday life? How many of them are full of content and how many of them are just empty, formal, routine words?
The same as a “Good morning” or a “good night” that can be meaningful words or empty words.
The words of Jesus were “full of authority”.
His words were a living expression of his feelings, from his heart, from his innermost being…
Jesus was the “author” of his words and his words were full of authority.
Try to use the exercise today of “speaking with authority”.
May your words be an expression of yourself,
and always be the expression of the best of yourself.
Then they will be full of authority.
Good day.
