Serving the Word: Lk 11: 47-54

Luke 11, 47-54:
“Woe to you, teachers of the law, that have taken over the key of knowledge: you have not entered and those who have tried to enter it, you have prevented”.

Many times we confuse sincerity with solace and even with the faults of education.
In honour of the sincerity we can make suffer and make other people suffer. Because, in the background, what we try is not to build but to destroy and attack.
The sincerity of Jesus is constructive. With courage he unmasks all those actions that oppose and hinder the plan of salvation that the Father has for mankind.
Jesus does not want to hurt any of those who have heard him but yes, he wants to cure their blindness and their hypocrisy and lies.
That’s why he speaks very clearly to those who praise God with their tongue, but their heart is hard as stone.
Today ask the Lord for the genuine sincerity of heart so as to know how to denounce without hurting everything that is opposed to the Kingdom of God.
May he give you the gift of correcting without hurting.
Good day.
