Serving the Word: Lk 11, 29-32

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 2020

Luke 11, 29-32:
“This generation is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but no sign other than the sign of Jonah will be given to it.

We do not trust God entirely. And, in a way, we are always asking for signs of his presence, existence and nearness.
Just as we act distrustfully with others, we also do so with God.
We do not trust, if we do not have proof by which to be trusted.
But with God this game and this logic is not acceptable.
When you change your way of thinking, feeling and acting and you think, feel and act from the mentality, from God’s feeling and acting you will realize that your life has a meaning, that you will be happy and that God is that loving Father who is always there giving himself in mercy, in forgiveness and in joy.
Do not ask for signs and miracles. Simply ask the Lord to increase your faith and trust in him.
Good day.
