Serving the Word: Lk 1: 39-56

Luke 1, 39-56:
“Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled”.

We celebrate today in the Church the feast of the Visitation of the Mary to her cousin Elizabeth.
I invite you to dwell on some aspects of Mary and, along with her, we can continue maturing our faith and to grow in our following of Jesus:
✓ Mary: a simple, humble woman, who was centred on God. Because God sees the simplicity, humility and docility of heart. He is not fixed on titles, ambitions and great personal success.
✓ Maria: says yes. She is faithful to the Word of God. She assumes the consequences of saying YES to God. And that doesn’t mean having all the future clear, but trusting in the Word of God, placing our lives in his hands and be willing to undertake the adventure that he proposes for us, always full of surprises, growth, commitment and humanity.
✓ Mary is blessed, happy, because she believed. When one fulfills the will of God one lives happy, because God never fails, he is always faithful and always gives us infinitely more than we can ask. To believe in God is to commit myself, always with his help, to transform reality by making everyone happy.
Today ask Mary to also visit you and also make you happy because you say YES to God and are faithful to his Word.
Good day.
