Serving the Word: Lk 10: 1-9

Luke 10:1-9:
“The harvest is rich but the labourers are few; so ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to his harvest. Set out on your way!.

Also, today, as in the times of Jesus, the harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.
Even without knowing it, our world hungers and thirsts for God because he is hungry and thirsty for peace and justice, forgiveness and mercy, goodness and beauty, love and acceptance.
Our world is like an immense field that is waiting for the rain of God because it is dying of thirst.
And it is waiting for workers to set out on the road, overcoming obstacles, putting in all their effort, not willing to stop, very little luggage and without fear to fatigue.
Put yourself on the road today!
Get in tune with the whole Church which, following the shepherd Francisco, wants to live in “going forth”!
We do not evangelize from paralysis and with arms crossed, sitting peacefully in an office or in an armchair. We evangelize by coming out of ourselves and putting ourselves on the road. We will also ask much of the owner of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.
And offer yourself to be one of them.
Good day
