Serving the Word: John 8: 31-42

John 8, 31-42:
“If you make my word your home you will indeed be my disciples, you will learn the truth, and the truth will make you free”.

We all aspire to know the truth and to live in freedom.
But, how many times, throughout life, do we fall into errors and into slaveries that ensnare us.
Jesus makes us see the truth of ourselves.
Contrasting our lives with his words and with his deeds, we become aware of the lies in which we often live and of the chains that bind us.
While remaining faithful to his word, we shall see Him as He sees us and we will also see the reality that surrounds us with their own eyes.
Trust in the gaze of Jesus!. How many other gazes deceive us by making us fall into the lie, deforming our own image and deforming reality as well!
Look with the eyes of Jesus! How many times we would like to see clarity in situations, events, experiences…! Always go to Jesus!. He is the light.
Good day.
