Serving the Word: John 6: 16-21

John 6, 16-21:
“It is I, do not be afraid”.

It was already the dead of night, a strong wind was blowing and the lake was choppy.
How many times in our life is night closing in, blowing strong winds and the waves are choppy!.
It is in these moments, when we are gripped with fear, we are afraid, we are paralyzed and it seems that hope has abandoned us.
But we have never to be afraid. When our horizons darken and we are given the impression that everything is going to collapse, it is the presence and the closeness of Jesus that we will save us again and again: “IT IS I, DO NOT BE AFRAID”.
Revive today your trust in the Lord. He makes you overcome all fears. He knows how to master all the waves. He knows how to lead you to peace, hope and joy.
Good day.
