Serving the Word: John 3: 13-17

John 3, 13-17:
“God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in Him may not be lost but may have eternal life”.

We are in danger of associating the cross only with pain, tears, mourning and death.
And certainly, the cross of Christ is dedication to the end and sacrifice even to death.
But, above all, it is life, triumph and resurrection.
The cross of Christ is strength in weakness.
Grace and comfort in pain.
Forgiveness for the offense.
Manifestation of the absolute and free love of the Father.
Today, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, contemplate a cross with faith and love.
Place in it your own crosses and all the crosses that you know.
Revive your hope.
Venerate it and reveal it to a world in need of its saving and redemptive power.
Good day.
