Serving the Word: John 17: 20-26

THURSDAY 28TH MAY

John 17, 20-26:
“Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and prayed, ‘Holy Father, that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

The credibility of Jesus’ followers is not in what we do.
The credibility of the followers of Jesus is in our way of loving and transmitting the love of God in everything we do. Any NGO can do the things that any Christian does. It can even do them better and more competently.
But what a Christian does, if it is charged with the love of Jesus, cannot be done by anyone who does not have the Spirit of Jesus.
The Spirit of Jesus is always the spirit of unity, of communion, of adding and never of dividing.
Because in order to do good and for the world to believe, we must be united, all those who want to transmit the love that Jesus showed us.
Break today with all the differences and with all the divisions that you discover in your life.
Good day.
