Serving the Word: John 16, 5-11

TUESDAY, MAY 19

John 16, 5-11:
“It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

Jesus continues to speak to us about the Holy Spirit.
Visibly, He disappears from among the disciples, but He promises the presence of the Holy Spirit who will always accompany His followers.
The Holy Spirit accompanies us by offering life in fullness, infusing encouragement and strength, help and strength in our Christian journey.
The Holy Spirit defends us from lies, protects us from cowardice, enlightens our lives, gives us patience in trials, and makes us keep alive the hope and flame of faith.
During these days before Pentecost invoke the Holy Spirit more often and let yourself be guided by Him.
You will feel his strength and see your mission, here and now, with the clarity he will give you.
Good day.
