Serving the Word: John 15, 9-11

John 15, 9-11:
“I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete”.

Jesus speaks to us today of joy.
But he does not give us a speech about it. He tries to pass it on. Because joy is not transmitted through words and decrees, but through being caught. Those who have it are those who have caught it.
Jesus spreads us his joy because his life and completeness is contagious.
Pope Francis is inviting us constantly to joy.
The Gospel of Jesus is not a book of ‘killjoy’prohibitions and regulations but it is a presentation of a God of all tenderness, closeness, acceptance, forgiveness, mercy, understanding, and happiness.
The God of the Gospel is a God who spreads contagious joy.
Feel today the joy that having a God like this gives us.
Good day.
