Serving the Word: John 13: 16-20

John 13, 16-20:
“Whoever welcomes the one I send welcomes me”.

We believe that those sent by God have to be extraordinary people. Wise and holy people who know His ways and show them to the rest of us. Certainly, God often makes use of these people to teach his ways and help us to see his will. But it is not the more usual way. The things of God are very simple.
The simple gesture of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples is an eloquent Word of God.
Facts, words, events are also sent by God. And we are to receive all these things as “sent from God” and not only to people such as ourselves.
Every person that today you come across is “sent” by God for you.
Also read His Word in everything that happens, everything you see and everything you hear.
And keep in mind that you, too, are an envoy of God for others. May everyone see and hear the Word of the Lord today from you and through you
Good day.
