Serving the Word: John 10, 22-30

TUESDAY, MAY 5

John 10, 22-30:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life.

The Jews still do not believe in Jesus.
Their blindness and their closed mind prevent them from seeing the signs of salvation that Jesus performs.
Their deafness to the word of Jesus also prevents them from understanding the meaning of these words.
They do not understand and do not want to understand. They do not listen and do not want to listen. Because they want to understand what they want and they want to hear what they want to hear.
Stand before Jesus unconditionally and open yourself to his Word without hesitation. Let yourself be led by Him. He will give you new eyes and a new heart to see Him and understand Him.
You will receive new life from Him and no one will be able to steal you away from His hand.
His Word will be fulfilled in you: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life. They will not perish forever, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
Good day.
