HOLY SATURDAY 8th APRIL 2023
Matthew 28, 1-10:
“Rejoice… Do not be afraid: go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee; there they will see me”.
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the tomb where the body of Jesus was laid. They found it empty and heard the announcement of the Lord’s resurrection.
They run to announce the good news to the disciples. But first, the Risen Lord himself came out to meet them and spoke to them, inviting them to three things:
1°: To rejoice: “Rejoice”.
2°: To leave all fears behind: “Do not be afraid:
3°: To be messengers of LIFE: “go and tell my brothers and sisters”.
During this time of Easter, try to make it possible for the Risen Lord to meet you:
1°: You will see that joy is reborn in you.
2°: You will see that all your fears and apprehensions will be dissipated.
3°: And you will also feel the need to communicate to others the power of LIFE that the Resurrection of Jesus brings us.
