MONDAY 4th JULY 2022
Matthew 9, 18-26:
“Courage, daughter, your faith has saved you….. And at that moment the woman was cured…. The girl is not dead, she is asleep…. He took the girl by the hand and she got up”.
Jesus meets today two people whose life has deserted them. Jesus, who is LIFE, reaches out to those who have none.
First, he comes to a woman who is hemorrhaging blood and whose life is ebbing away.
Then he approaches a little girl whose life has just left her.
The woman had little life but much faith. That is why the encounter with Jesus, who is full LIFE, also fills her with life.
The father of the girl who has just died also comes to Jesus and asks for life for his daughter. And it is also his faith that brings his daughter back to life.
Contact with Jesus always gives us LIFE.
Come to him and present all those “deaths” that you feel in you, have faith in Jesus.
Have faith in Jesus, He is LIFE. He will give life to all that is lifeless in you.
