TUESDAY 31st JANUARY 2022
Mark 5, 21-43:
“Your faith has healed you… do not be afraid, it is enough that you have faith”.
In today’s Gospel there are two situations of poverty:
* That of a woman who has spent all her fortune to regain her health so as not to be humiliated and ignored by her people.
* That of Jairus, head of the synagogue, powerless and poor in the face of the certain death of his daughter.
But they both turn to Jesus with enormous faith and it is faith that saves them.
– To one Jesus says, “your faith has healed you”.
– To the other, Jesus addresses him with these words: “Do not be afraid; it is enough that you have faith.
Let Jesus lay his hands on you and transform you with his love and mercy.
Let yourself also be helped by Jesus so that he will lift you up from all discouragement and help you to never give up any situation for lost.
Never be afraid, just have faith!
