Serving the Word: 28th November

Luke 21, 34-36:

“Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Be careful with yourselves, lest your hearts be troubled.  Be always awake at all times”.

On this last day of the Christian year open wide the doors of your heart and life to the Lord who comes and wants to enter.

May the burdens of life be no more than your attention to the Lord.

Try today and always to keep yourself firm and constant in thinking, living and being for the Lord.

Prepare yourself to live this coming Advent with joy and with the disposition to renew yourself and centre yourself on the Lord who wants a place in your life and in the life of all of us in the midst of our haste and burdens.

And rejoice because the Lord is very close to you and to all of us.

Have a good day and a happy start to Advent.

Good day.
