MONDAY 27th FEBRUARY 2023
Matthew 25, 31-46:
When did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink; when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you; when did we see you sick in prison and come to you…? Truly I tell you, whenever you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me”.
I can sum up my reflection on today’s Gospel with the phrase written by the mystic St. John of the Cross:
“In the evening of life, you will be examined for love”.
