Serving the Word: 25th September

FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER
Luke 9, 18-22:
“And you, who do you say that I am?

We continue to question ourselves with the same question as yesterday.
A personal and direct question: “WHO IS JESUS FOR ME?
To be a Christian is not to have a belief, nor to observe a morality, nor to engage in a particular form of worship.
The Christian does not opt for any of these.
For whom the Christian chooses and whom the Christian follows is a person. And that person is Jesus Christ.
From a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, one’s beliefs, the practice of a certain morality, and also the performance of a certain type of worship are derived.
But, don’t forget, the first thing is your personal option for Jesus.
Ask the Lord today to give meaning to your steps, joy to your heart and hope to your life.
Ask him that you truly feel that He is your Saviour.
Good day to you.
