THURSDAY 25th MAY 2023
John 17, 20-26:
“Jesus, lifting up his eyes to heaven, prayed, saying, Holy Father, that they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
The credibility of Jesus’ followers is not in what we do.
The credibility of Jesus’ followers is in the way we love and transmit God’s love in everything we do. Any NGO can do the things that any Christian does. It can even do them better and more competently.
But what a Christian does, if he or she is charged with the love of Jesus, cannot be done by anyone who does not have the Spirit of Jesus.
The Spirit of Jesus is always a spirit of unity, of communion, of adding and never of dividing.
Because in order to do good and for the world to believe, all of us who want to transmit the love that Jesus showed us must be united.
Break today with all the differences and all the divisions that you discover in your life.
