THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER
Luke 9, 7-9:
“And he longed to see Jesus.
The question that Herod asks in the Gospel today is the question that each of us can ask.
And it is also the question that many have asked, are asking and will ask themselves: “Who is Jesus of Nazareth? Ask yourself today, once again:
× Who is Jesus for you?
× What does he mean in your life?
× How does he influence your decisions?
× How does he change your behaviour?
And from here, from your own experience of Jesus, also proclaim and announce who Jesus is.
Because just as Herod at that time wanted to see Jesus, even if only out of curiosity, so today there are many people who, perhaps without knowing it, want to see Jesus.
And keep in mind that many will not read any other gospel than the gospel of your life.
