WEDNESDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER
Luke 9:1-6:
“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all kinds of demons and to cure diseases. Then he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick”.
Jesus chose the Twelve to be with him and to send them out to preach.
Today the time for this sending has come and we see that the announcement of the Good News is not done only in words.
The Twelve are also entrusted with the mission of casting out demons and healing the sick. Today too, our word as believers must be accompanied by concrete actions because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings to be healed.
Stand up today and look around you. Perhaps you have the opportunity to cast out some ” demon ” and to ” heal some sick person “.
Don’t miss the opportunity.
Jesus sends you to give freedom and joy.
