Serving the Word: 22th December

TUESDAY 22th DECEMBER 2020

“Mary said: My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, because he has looked upon the humiliation of his handmaid. From this time forth all generations shall rejoice in me, for the Mighty One has done great things for me. ”

The song of Mary is strength, joy, wonder, prayer, thanksgiving, adoration, praise.

It is a reflection of how Mary feels loved and blessed by God.

It is worth re-reading this song once again. Let us interiorize it. Let each of its words enter our hearts. Focus on the smallness, simplicity and cleanliness of Mary’s Heart.

See how far God’s action can go in us when we place ourselves unconditionally in His hands.

It is worth opening ourselves to his will, to his presence, to his Word and letting him work wonders in us.

Bless God as Mary did and be grateful for his presence in your life and in the life of every human being.

Good day.
