Serving the Word: 21st July

WEDNESDAY 21st JULY 2021

Matthew 13, 1-9:

“The sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some of it fell by the roadside; the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on stony ground where it had little soil, and because the soil was not deep, it sprang up quickly; but as soon as the sun rose, it was scorched and withered for lack of roots. Others fell among thistles, which grew up and choked them. Some fell on good soil and bore fruit, one a hundredfold, another sixty, another thirty. He who has ears, let him hear”.

The parable of the sower is put to us again today.

It is possible that you see yourself reflected in all those soils where the seed falls.

The important thing is that every day you become better soil so that the seed that God sows in you bears the best fruit.

Today, go back to examine the readiness of your soil to receive the Word of God and to bear the desired fruit.

Good day.
