TUESDAY 1st MARCH 2022
Mark 10, 28-31:
“Truly I tell you, whoever leaves house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, will receive now in this age a hundredfold – houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions – and in the age to come, eternal life.”
Jesus wants followers who are free and bound to nothing and no one.
The proclamation of the Kingdom is so important that nothing and no one can come before it.
To follow Jesus is a risk, an adventure, trusting him completely.
Today you receive Jesus’ invitation to follow him and, with this invitation, you also receive the invitation to abandon yourself into his hands and to detach yourself from everything that could prevent you from giving priority to God’s plan for you and for others.
Ask the Lord to give you generosity and to help you to be a disciple and missionary who puts nothing before the programme and implementation of his Kingdom.
