Luke 2, 41- 51:
“His Mother kept all these things in her Heart”.
Today, on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we direct the gaze of our hearts to that Immaculate Heart.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary
☆ It is like a beautiful casket in which the treasure of the Gospel of Jesus is best kept.
☆ It is also the incandescent forge where we best set ourselves on fire to love God and others.
☆ It is also like a bow that shoots us as if we were an arrow proclaiming the message of Jesus.
☆ It is the inner cloister where we find silence and calm to interiorise the Word of God and to encounter him and our brothers and sisters.
☆ The Heart of Mary is an open balcony from which we lovingly contemplate all people in order to bring them good news.
☆ And it is also the quiet lap of a mother where we rest and dream in peace.
Happy Heart of Mary Day and may she keep you in the lap of that Immaculate Heart.
