On November 1st, All Saints’ Day, Fr. Blas Márquez cmf passed away. He rests in peace. We would like to share some words of affection for him:
On this All Saints’ Day, Fr. Blas Márquez arrives in heaven. Missionary, teacher, companion of so many homeless, friend, teacher, writer, poet, … Claretian.
Rest in that heaven, after stepping on this earth, to which you dedicated so many letters and poems. Your mind is at rest. The Mystery has been discovered.
From your beloved Orinoco River (Venezuela) passing through the mission of Humahuaca (Argentina), Rehoyas (Gran Canaria), Seville and even your nights of supper with the migrants in the Alcaravaneras (Las Palmas)… we say to you: “Hasta el cielo”!
Today the Church loses and mourns an apostle of the poor. D.E.P. friend.
