RIP Antonio Sanjuán cmf

Fr. Antonio Sanjuán cmf died at the age of 81 in Almendralejo. Rest in peace Brother Antonio, you carried with missionary passion the ministries entrusted to you, usually related to young people, whether as a teacher, formator, prefect of the Vincentian Youth Movement or coordinator. The sadness for your loss is compensated by the joy of knowing that you are with the Father, with life and fullness. Long live God!

Your blog, SERVING THE WORD, will continue to be a witness on earth that love always wins.

We share some dedications to Fr. Antonio Sanjuán:

Rest in PEACE, Antonio. Better still: rest in JOY, in LIFE and in FULFILLMENT. In ENCOUNTER. In LOVE.

The time has come to live what you have made us cry out so many times…

“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, HE IS RISEN!!!”

And we believe it today with the same faith with which you announced it to us. And we give infinite THANKS to the GOD of LIFE.

(Jorge R. Sánchez Palacios, cmf)

When I was 15 years old, you invited me to a Missionary Easter. I didn’t know what it meant that Jesus rose from the dead.

You taught me the most important message of Jesus: that in spite of pain, suffering, injustice and what we don’t understand, Jesus always wins. Love always wins.

Your life has been a testimony to the light and creativity of the Gospel. You always found new ways to bring us closer to God.

Thank you Antonio. Tireless missionary in the style of Claret.

DEP

Today Fr. Antonio Sanjuán departed to heaven. He worked well in the Vincentian Youth Movement, even playing Satan. He knew how to bring every young person he met closer to God. Rest in peace Antonio. The Heart of Mary will hold you in her arms forever. Today Almendralejo (Badajoz) and many hearts around the world mourn you. Long live God!

Rest in peace, Antonio, good missionary with apostolic ardour in the style of Claret.

You brought many of us closer to the Lord and to the Claretian missionary vocation. Many of your accents have left their mark on me.

May the Lord give you the longed-for Trinitarian embrace.

(José Manuel Marín Mena, novice)

The Claretian shepherd, the one who loved life, has left us.

Fr. Antonio Sanjuán, who gave his life to God, has met face to face with the Lord of Life. May he rest in peace.

We thank God for the work he did these last years in Almendralejo.

We will keep his legacy alive.

Rest in PEACE, today too, Antonio Sanjuan CMF. Tireless missionary in announcing the joy of the resurrection. A vocation to bring God closer to everyone, especially the youngest, giving his life, his time and his humour to others.
