Yesterday, August 31, would have been the birthday of Francisco (“Paco”) González Izquierdo, a Claretian missionary of our Province who died a few years ago. A few weeks ago, Pedro Soriano, a lay Claretian from the Parish of Carmen in Malaga (Spain), dedicated a beautiful remembrance to him in the diocesan magazine. Although he did not mention his name – Paco – today he did not mind us saying that he was referring to him. Here you can read the article.
We take this opportunity to dedicate our grateful remembrance to the many missionaries of our Province who already live in God and who were precious instruments in the evangelization of the world.
