Last Friday, 15th September, coinciding with the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Parish of El Pilar (Tenerife, Spain) received the inauguration of its new parish priest, Fr. José Ángel Ayala cmf, by the Vicar of Santa Cruz, and on behalf of the Bishop of the Diocese of Tenerife.
It was a simple celebration that touched the hearts of the parishioners for its depth and significance. After the ceremony, there was a small toast of fellowship. In addition, the Brotherhood of the Virgen de las Angustias, which was celebrating its feast day, remembered the deceased members and participated in the readings of this liturgy.
We congratulate Fr. José Ángel for this mission entrusted to him by the Lord.
Thus, in this significant way, the Parish of El Pilar begins its new pastoral year 2023-2024.
