On Saturday 17 June, Heart of Mary Day, the Heart of Mary Shrine in Carvalhos (Portugal) hosted the priestly ordination of Adão da Costa Chaves cmf and the diaconate ordination of José Manuel Marín Mena cmf.
Manuel António Mendes dos Santos cmf, bishop emeritus of São Tomé e Príncipe, presided over the ceremony, accompanied by Carlos Candeias cmf, superior of our Province of Fatima.
Adão and José Manuel had a beautiful celebration with the presence of their families, friends and acquaintances, Claretian missionaries of the communities of Oporto-Carvalhos (where Adão lives) and of the community of Madrid (Province of Santiago, where José Manuel lives), as well as other communities of the Province of Fátima and of the Formative Community of the Theologate of Granada.
After the ordination, there was an aperitif in the dining room of the Colégio Internato dos Carvalhos (CIC) to give thanks.
