Presentation of the Provincial Mission Plan to the Positions

As part of the itinerary of visits that Fr Manolo Ogalla, CMF, Prefect of Apostolado, is undertaking across the various positions and communities of the Fatima Province, Areosa Parish hosted the presentation of the Provincial Mission Plan on Friday, 25 September. With this meeting, over a dozen communities have now received the Prefect’s visit to learn about and implement first-hand the pastoral guidelines that will shape the life of the Province over the next three years.

These visits are part of a coordinated effort by which the Province seeks to foster mutual listening and consolidate our apostolic work as a single body. During the gathering, Fr Manolo Ogalla outlined the cross-cutting priorities that underpin the new plan:

Biblical Animation: Placing the Word of God at the heart of community life and activities.

Solidarity Dimension: Promoting a close and unmistakable presence alongside those who are most vulnerable.

Vocational Pastoral Care: Devotedly accompanying young people as they grow in faith and make key life decisions.

These visits to the provincial positions aim not only to introduce the institutional framework, but also to encourage each local community to undertake its own exercise of discernment to adapt these priorities to its own reality.
