Every Sunday during Lent, the Coração de Maria Sanctuary in Carvalhos (Porto, Portugal) has organised a Lenten conference at 5.30 p.m. for all those interested.
Under the motto “A synodal experience”, each week will address various topics of interest: “Memory of the Passion of Christ and crisis of the Church” (Fr. Nuno Ventura, Passionist religious), “A community always identified and attractive” (Fr. Vasco Gonçalvez, responsible for Adult Catechesis in Viana do Castelo), “Relationship of faith and limit situations of the human being” (Fr. Fábio Carvalho, Chaplain of the Hospital of Viana do Castelo), “Love in the family: vocation and path of holiness” (Eng. Ângelo Soares, Secretary of Family Pastoral of the Diocese of Porto) and “Religious mind: its role in cognitive balance, health and well-being” (Dr. Lisete Monico, Professor of Psychology, University of Coimbra).
