At the end of the last academic term, the University College Pius XII (Lisbon) organized a conference with Dr. Pedro Santana Lopes (former Prime Minister of Portugal), in which he mentioned the various projects he led or collaborated with. Throughout the meeting, he referred to all of them, since his passing through football, as president of Sporting Clube de Portugal, as well as his political life and recent mission at Santa Casa da Misericórdia. He introduced himself to the students as a citizen who lives in the polis and to the polis, and who has a great fascination for the public cause, always lived with irreverence and dynamism.
