Our missionaries in Zimbabwe have blessed and inaugurated the chapel of St Martin Leza Ulandiswe, made up of Tonga catechumens who are preparing for their baptism. It is the first chapel for a totally Tonga people community. The Eucharist is celebrated in Shona and Tonga. Without doubt a concrete example of the Church ‘going forth’ into new cultural and idiomatic contexts. Let us pray for this new nascent community.
