Antonio Llamas cmf, who has been serving in Zimbabwe for the past 21 years, after arriving on 21 January 2022, gave thanks to the Lord at the farewell ceremony in Zhomba Mission on 28 May.
Thirteen of these years were spent in Gokwe serving the community of Gwave and Zhomba Mission. Together with others, Fr Llamas implemented the famous RCIA methodology and was very instrumental in promoting self-reliance.
His next assignment is Rome: he has been appointed to work in the office of the JPIC Secretariat.
