On 22 October, in the Coração de Maria Sanctuary, in Carvalhos (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal), the ordination to the diaconate of the student Adão da Costa Chaves took place.
The ordination was presided over by Mgr Manuel António Mendes dos Santos, bishop emeritus of São Tomé e Príncipe, who was accompanied by the Provincial Superior, Fr Carlos Candeias, and a large group of confreres from various communities.
Let us pray for Adão, asking for fidelity to the service entrusted to him. He is currently assigned to the community of the College of Carvalhos, where he participates in the ministry of the community in education.
