For several years now, the Church in Spain has been celebrating the Day for Decent Work on October 7. Promoted by organizations such as Caritas, Justice and Peace, CONFER and the specialized movements of Catholic Action, YCW, YCS and HOAC, they claim the necessary changes so that, as pointed out in Caritas in veritate by Benedict XVI, decent work is “an expression of the essential dignity of every man or woman”.
