On Friday 19th May, the Bishop of Tenerife, Bernardo Álvarez, conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation on 25 young people and 5 adults from the Parish of El Pilar in Tenerife (Spain).
It was a parish event of great significance for all and especially for the people being confirmed, as the Holy Spirit was given to them as a gift to give to others.
The Eucharist was followed by a fraternal agape. We join in the words of the parish community and give thanks to the Lord and pray that the newly confirmed will be faithful to the gift received.
