On Wednesday 20 July 2022, the Mayor of Seville, Antonio Muñoz, inaugurated a promenade dedicated to Father Miguelez (between the districts of Bermejales and Heliópolis).
It has been an initiative of the former students of the Claret School of Seville for his educational dedication and the development of the sport in the ‘Patín Claret’ of roller hockey, which in the 70s reached the Division of Honour and which brought together so many students and inspired them with education in the Claretian values.
Fr. Miguelez has been in our Claretian community of Don Benito since 1985 and for many years he has been a teacher at the Claret School of Don Benito.
