THURSDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2021
Mark 6, 7-13:
“They went out to preach conversion, and cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.”
Jesus chose the Twelve “to be with him and to send them out to preach”.
Today the time for that sending has come.
And we see that the proclamation of the Good News is not just in words.
To the Twelve he also entrusts the mission of “casting out demons” and “healing the sick.
Today too, our word as believers has to be accompanied by deeds and concrete signs because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings to be healed.
Stop today and look around you.
Maybe you will have the opportunity to cast out some “demons” and to heal some “sick people”.
Don’t pass it up. Jesus sends you to give freedom and joy.
