Serving the Word: Mk 16: 9-15

SATURDAY APRIL 18 – SATURDAY IN THE OCTAVE OF EASTER

Mark 16, 9-15:
“Go out to the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”

The command that Jesus addresses to his disciples today remains valid also for each and every one of us.
There are still many parts of the world and many corners of our geography where the Good News of Jesus has not yet reached.
And Jesus is Good News for each and every one of us.
It is even the case that those traditionally Christian places are where the Gospel of Jesus can be most unknown.
Think, for example, of the world of young people, the world of the family, the world of the media, the world of politics, the world of finance? and so many other worlds in need of the light of the Gospel.
Make this command of Jesus your own because it is also addressed to you.
And proclaim the Gospel in the place, the moment and the situation in which you find yourself.
Good day.
